Activate your App by clicking on the button:
or navigate to Online Store > Themes > Customize > Theme settings > App embeds.
Make sure to click “Save”.
After "Countdown Timer Bar" is installed, the app will appear in the "Apps" section in your Shopify account:

Countdown Timer Bar has a user-friendly, intuitive interface that allows a user to create and customize timers in minutes without any need for coding. Let’s take a look at the creation of the timer step by step.
To create your timer, click on the tab “Create Timer” or on the button “Create Timer”.
Choose a template that is most suitable for you and click on it. Give a name to your timer and click the “Create Timer” button.
Check more information about timer customization in Widget Design. Once the timer looks like you wish, you can move to the Rules&Triggers section by clicking on the tab “Rules and Triggers” or “Next” button.
Here you can set up rules and condition options for your timer. Let’s check these sections: Audience, User behavior, and Frequency settings.
In the Audience targeting section, there are the following settings: Show this timer only on. Choose the devices your timer will be displayed on.
Show only for logged customers. Decide whether only logged customers will be able to see your timer.
Trigger event. The offer needs to start somewhere. Decide which actions and which products should kick off your offer flow. Choose pages, buttons, or events that will launch your widget.
If you decide that your timer has to be shown on the Product page you can choose if it is going to be on any product page or a specific one. To choose one or the range of products pages, enable the field “Products” and click the button “Select Products”.
Enter URL parameter. Add a URL parameter to your link so that your timer can be seen only when following a specific link with this parameter.
Show only for users by tag. Only show your offer for selected groups of users by tags.
In the User behaviour section, you can find the following settings: After waiting for X seconds. This requires the viewer to be on that page for a minimum time before the timer launches.
Trigger. Set up a trigger of a timer displaying with options for supporting thresholds based on time and actions.
Show when a customer:
1. Visits a page - the standard for making an announcement on your site.
2. Scrolls a page down - requires the visitor to browse a percentage of the page (you can set it up) to show a level of interest and not startle them with a timer.
3. Exit intent - attempts to exit a page, it’s excellent for last-chance offers to try and engage with prospects before they leave.
Note: Exit intent works only on the desktop version of the site.
In the Frequency Settings section, you can set up the frequency for showing the timer and also define the rule when the timer has to be hidden.
When the rules and triggers are configured, click “Next” button to go to the Final setup section.

When you are happy with your timer click Save at the right corner of the page.
Your offer will be activated automatically, you can check how it looks on your shop.
If you want to disable the timer, go to the dashboard and select timers at the left panel.
On Timers page, you’ll find all created timers. On the column Active, press on the switcher of the timer you want to disable.

You will be automatically redirected to the “Position” section once you click “Create Timer”. In this section, you can choose the location on the page where you'd like the timer to be displayed.There are several position options: Popup, Slide-In (left side), Slide-In (right side), Embedded Popup, Top Bar, and Bottom Bar.
Note: when choosing Embedded Popup option, you need to set up the timer position in the Rules&Triggers section.
You can customize the template design in the “Sections & Theme Settings” section.
On the left side of the page, you can find the next tabs: Sections, Position and Animation, and Design.
In the tab "Sections" you can add, move, hide, delete, and edit sections.
You have the option to add several elements to your widget: Timer, Subheading, Heading, Button, and Rich text.
To make the section not visible, click on the eye icon, to move the section - point the mouse at the dotted icon, right-click, and drag the section up or down without releasing the button. To delete the section, click on the delete icon.
Add a countdown timer to inform the client about the end of the offer and encourage faster decision-making. This real-time countdown creates a sense of urgency, helping to increase engagement and prompt timely actions from users.
This section empowers you to influence your visitors and prompt them to submit the requested information. Choose the Button Element to incorporate a button into your timer. You have the freedom to add a compelling call-to-action (CTA) on the button and customize numerous aspects.
Here you also can edit button alignment and quantity of columns in the section.
Select this element to communicate with a customer the purpose of this timer. Use the editing tools in this section to highlight important information and draw the user's attention to it.
In the "Position" tab you can choose the position of the timer, where it appears.
Use the "Animation" tab to select an animation of how it appears to customers.
In the Layout section, you can change the layout image, position, and size.
Here you also can change the widget width and content max width.
To change the layout style, click on the pencil icon.
Here you can hide the background image on mobile, enable image contain, remove overlay, customize the look of the widget and image(borders, margins, paddings).
Once you are done with customization don’t forget to click the Save button.
You can also edit the background size, horizontal and vertical position in the Layout section.
Change your theme from the default one to a Black or Light theme.
Choose the wallpapers for your widget that will match your website's mood.
To add the top section to your timer, enable Show/hide switcher. If you want to change the top background color click on the pencil icon.
To customize the closing button on your timer, click on the Close pencil icon.
Here you can change the background color, customize the widget border and margins by clicking on the corresponding pencil icon.
Use this section to add Custom CSS code.
Choose "Settings" from the profile menu.
1. You have the opportunity to change the amount of the timers and offers to show. Just scroll to the proper section and choose the frequency of showings.
2. If you want to change the display position of the inline widget, you can do it in this field.
